The Cotillion Club is a Dallas social club for women. The benefits are endless - social, networking, and community involvement to name a few. Cotillion Club gives young women the opportunity to meet other women with common interests. At events, members have exclusive access to new and exciting places in Dallas as well as some of the traditional landmarks. Cotillion Club members are smart and savvy young women who enjoy visiting new venues, experiencing cultural events, being introduced to new products and fashion lines, connecting with friends, meeting new people and networking.
Typically, our events are planned for the Spring (February - August) and Fall (September - January). Each period we have a voting party, new member reception, happy hour with each gentlemen's club, style show and at least one multi-club event. Our largest event of the year is the annual black tie Cotillion Casino Party held in January . This event has been held at places such as the Petroleum Club, Crescent Court and the Trammell Crow Asian Art Museum. We also have additional events for the officers of both the Cotillion Club and all the clubs' officers.
Some of our most recent and favorite hosts are: Stanley Korshak, Kiehls, Neiman Marcus, Cerulean Gallery, MAKE, L.Bartlett, Krimson and Klover, and DeBoulle; for happy hours: Standard, TABC, Stoneleigh P, The Quarter, and Barley House. Our members are a great source of publicity for the venues as they have a sense of current fashions and are well established within the Dallas society. Many members were born and raised in Dallas and grew up knowing of Cotillion Club. Many members are multi-generational, with their mothers and grandmothers having been members. Also, we have many members that went to SMU and TCU, or moved to Dallas after college and have joined the club through friends. Our members are extremely involved in other areas of the community: Slipper Club, Junior League of Dallas, Idlewild Debutantes(The Chantilly Ball), The Traveler's Society, Junior Associates of the Dallas Museum of Art, as well as many other organizations through college and sorority alumni groups. Our members typically range from early 20s to mid 30s.
